“All over the homeland”, an initiative to support needy families in a number of governorates

On the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, a Syrian Foundation called: “Syria Brings Us Together”, launched an initiative under the slogan “All over the Homeland” to support the families of martyrs and the needy families in the governorates of Damascus, its countryside, and Lattakia.

The initiative includes providing clothes for children and food aid, reaching out to about 1,000 people. The initiative comes within the framework of the programs that the Foundation is working on in helping needy families, especially the families of the martyrs and the wounded, pointing to the necessity of activating these initiatives in the light of the economic conditions that the Syrian people are currently suffering from.

The Foundation is constantly working on launching various campaigns and projects, aiming to ease the economic burdens on needy families and provide services and material and psychological assistance to the targeted groups, through the efforts of the young volunteers.

The Foundation provides medicine periodically to those with chronic diseases, through a drug project that it launched in 2020.

A number of volunteers emphasized the importance of voluntary work among young people to help others during the difficult circumstances the country is going through, pointing out that these initiatives serve as an invitation to the Syrian youth to contribute to social development initiatives and support their continuation as a form of social cohesion among the people of Syria.

It is noteworthy that this Syrian Foundation “Syria Brings Us Together” was established in 2014, and it aims to provide support to the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and needy families, in addition to establishing recreational activities, providing foodstuffs to orphanages, and establishing development and health projects.
