DAMASCUS, (ST)- Two buses carrying all the abductees, released from the prisons of the so-called Jaish al-Islam” gang, left Douma, SANA reporter said Monday.
The reporter said that the two buses with tens of released abductees on board arrived at 11 p.m at the Syrian army checkpoint near al-Wafideen camp crossing. The buses transported the abductees to al-Fiaha stadium in Damascus where their relatives and thousands of citizens have been waiting to welcome them.
Earlier, an official source said that all the abductees, which are being held by the terrorists of “Jaish al-Islam” gang in Douma will be released tonight.
According to the source, the number of abductees circulated on social media are incorrect and they were exaggerated by terrorists in order to achieve as possible gains as through the negotiations.
It made it clear that all the alive abductees in Douma will be released tonight and the bodies of the martyrs will be handed by terrorists after the process of liberating the abductees is completed.
The first batch of abductees, who have been held by the terrorists of the so-called “Jaish al-Islam” terror Group in Douma, was released on Sunday after an agreement was reached earlier in the day to release all the abductees in exchange for the evacuation of all the terrorists from Douma to Jarablus in Aleppo.
