Algerian security arrests 14 terrorists from a terrorist organization

Algeria (ST): Algerian security forces arrested 14 “Rashad” terrorists who were active  and attempting to mislead public opinion and destabilize the country.

The Algerian News Agency, quoting a statement of the Ministry of the Interior, stated that the terrorists were arrested in Laghouat, south of Algeria, about 400 km from the capital, Algiers, and were “inciting unrest through applications and digital platforms by publishing false news and information that would harm the national interest while praising terrorist acts and calling for gatherings and disrupting public order and security.

According to the statement, preliminary investigations indicated that the detainees received financial support and funding from inside and outside in return for their sabotage activity and promoted misleading publications on the Internet to destabilize and mislead national public opinion.
