Algerian President: The crimes of French colonialism will not be subject to a statute of limitations
Algeria (ST): Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed that the crimes of French colonialism in Algeria will not be subject to a statute of limitations, calling for fair and impartial treatment of this file.
Tebboune said in today’s message on the occasion of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Victory Day: “Tomorrow we celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of a historic national day immortalized by the sacrifices of the Algerian people and the convoys of the righteous martyrs, a symbol of victory and deliverance from the hegemony of the hateful colonialism and the darkness of the aggressors on our pure land.
Tebboune added: “This historical moment would not have been such a great resounding echo extending to the lands of the world if it were not a shining culmination of a glorious epic revolution and the inevitable outcome of the generous and bitter sacrifices that have rolled over since the feet of the colonizer set foot on the soil of our homeland through heroic popular resistances that were entrenched in the records of memory and history to inspire generations today and tomorrow to be faithful to the martyrs, and to inspire in the hearts of our youth the enthusiasm, the generosity and the will to build and develop.”
