Algerian President confirms that reunification of Arabs requires the return of Syria to the Arab League

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stressed on Wednesday that Arab reunification requires the return of Syria to the Arab League, and that no country has the right to interfere in the affairs of another one.

During a joint press conference with his Tunisian counterpart Kais Saied in the Tunisian capital,  Tebboune said that there are no major disputes between the Arab countries.  Algeria will not perpetuate Arab discrimination during its hosting of the Arab Summit, he added.

The Algerian president also hoped that the summit in Algeria would restore harmony between Arab countries, pointing out that the Arabs must be certain that most countries are programmed for division, so they must unite.

On the other hand, Tebboune affirmed the consensus of visions with the Tunisian President on the necessity of a peaceful solution to the crisis in Libya, stressing the importance of Libya getting rid of the presence of mercenaries and foreign forces on its soil soon.

Tebboune, who arrived in Tunisia on an official visit, also expressed his deep satisfaction with the results of the talks he held with his Tunisian counterpart, noting that the signing of the important number of agreements confirms the tendency to expand areas of cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia.
