Algeria (ST) – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune reaffirmed Algeria’s firm commitment to supporting the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people and their just cause in order to regain all their inalienable and non-negotiable rights, most importantly their right to establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
In a message published on Algerian television on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Tebboune referred to the enormous sacrifices of this people and their long suffering from the Israeli terrorism that targeted their land, unity, and sanctities.
“All of this is happening at a time when the international community and the relevant UN agencies are showing a shameful and dangerous failure to stop the insane war being waged on a defenseless people”, Tebboune added.
Tebboune concluded his message by saying: “This situation puts on us, advocates of peace, the responsibility to exert more efforts and work to uphold the principles and purposes of the UN Charter and provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people.”
It is noteworthy that today is the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, an opportunity to reaffirm support for the rights of the Palestinians and support for their just cause, which has gained momentum at the regional and global levels in the light of the Zionist aggression against Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
