Algerian President calls for holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes in Gaza

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune called for holding the Israeli occupation entity accountable for the crimes of genocide and crimes against humanity it has been committing in Gaza Strip.
He stressed his country’s firm support to the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to restore their right to self-determination and establish their independent state.
In a message read on his behalf by the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Al-Aid Rabika, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, organized by the United Nations in cooperation with the Palestinian Embassy in Algeria today, Tebboune said: This year, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People comes at a special time due to the brutal aggression of the Israeli occupation against the defenceless Palestinian people, especially in Gaza Strip, which has entered its second year amidst blatant and shameful international failure to put an end to its horrific consequences.
The Algerian President pointed out that the price of silence and inaction regarding the current Palestinian tragedy is high and will be very high tomorrow, and that the inability of the international community to impose the resolutions of international legitimacy on the Israeli occupier threatens the disintegration of the international system and pushes towards an uncontrolled system that is completely subject to the logic of force.
He indicated that Algeria, through its current membership in the UN Security Council, will continue to loudly defend this position, which is fully consistent with its established principles and its commitments to the UN Charter.
