Algeria (ST): Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced the arrest of 22 suspects in the forest fires that occurred in several states of the country, warning against attempts to undermine national unity and exploit adversities and crises in order to divide the people of the same country.
In a speech he addressed to the Algerian people about the disaster of forest fires in several Algerian states, President Tebboune said that those behind the attempts to undermine Algeria’s national unity will be confronted by all available means, warning against taking advantage of opportunities to create division in the country.
The Algerian president reiterated that most of the current fires in his country are caused by “criminal hands,” noting that 22 suspects are currently in the hands of justice.
