Algeria rejects allegations about HR violations

Algeria expressed its categorical rejection for the European Parliament list about the allegations of human rights and democracy violations in Algeria.

The Algerian News Agency quoted the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying that the  EP move is considered a flagrant intervention in Algeria’s internal affairs.

The statement added that the EU, by issuing such a list, affirmed  that its aim was the creation of chaos which was implemented earlier in some Arab states.

Earlier, Algerian Army Chief of Staff Ahmad Qayed Saleh affirmed that Algeria is a sovereign independent state that does not accept foreign diktat.
