Algeria calls for holding a Security Council session to discuss the threat of forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza

Algeria has called for holding an open session at the Security Council to discuss the threat of forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza Strip.

“This call constitutes Algeria’s first moves at the Security Council to discuss the danger of forced displacement of Palestinians, especially the people of Gaza, and its negative effects on the just Palestinian cause” the Algerian radio website quoted a diplomatic source as saying.

This move initiated by Algeria, according to the website, confirms that the Palestinian issue is a central issue for Algeria.

The Israeli occupation has been committing crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
