Algerian state media reported on Wednesday that Algeria and Somalia called for an emergency session of the UN Security Council regarding the Israeli attacks on Syria.

Algerian television reported that “Algeria and Somalia requested an emergency session of the Security Council to discuss the repercussions of the Zionist occupation’s attacks on sisterly Syria,” according to Sputnik.

Algerian television added that “the request to hold an emergency session of the UN Security Council came after consultation and agreement with the Arab Group in New York.”
