Aleppo Markets Revive

“Aleppo is the city that never sleeps,” this reflected in the daily activities of its markets and neighborhoods. Even during the Eid holiday, the vibrancy of Aleppo’s markets remained evident, with locals and visitors bustling about.

In the early morning hours this week, shop owners began opening their doors to greet customers from both Aleppo city and the surrounding countryside. Vendors in Aleppo often expressed their hope, saying, “We wish every day were a holiday, and we never want to do business.”
