Aleppo International Airport will open tomorrow after an interval of more than eight years due to the terrorist organizations that were spread in the vicinity of the city of Aleppo and that targeted the safety and security of travelers with the missiles.
Tomorrow, the airport will receive the first flight coming from Damascus after the achievement of victory over terrorism thanks to the heroism and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army and the declaration of the city of Aleppo is completely safe from terrorism and the airport is ready to receive flights.
SANA’s camera toured the airport and the reception and departure halls, and was briefed on the technical readiness in it.
Engineer Mohammed Al-Masry, the airport manager, explained in a statement to a SANA correspondent that the reopening of the airport in front of air traffic is one of the results of the victory achieved by the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army on terrorism and of the restoration of safety to the city of Aleppo.
Al-Masry pointed out that the airport’s work joints and technical equipment were maintained and the runways were rehabilitated to be ready to receive planes and passengers, noting the efforts of all workers and technicians who worked hard to accelerate putting the airport into service.
