Aleppo (ST): The exhibition of artist Anne Dishgkinian, which was opened on the occasion of the commemoration of the 106th anniversary of the crime of genocide against the Armenian people, included 42 paintings that cast light on those who were displaced and unjustly killed at the hands of the criminals of the obsolete Ottoman authority in the hall of the Church of Joy in Al-Midan neighborhood in Aleppo.
In a statement, the artist explained that she expressed through her paintings the immediate inner feelings of sadness and anger mixed with optimism and hope for the future to obtain the legitimate and usurped rights for all Armenians, using dark colors, from which bright colors are extracted in reference to the birth of a new shining dawn.
Archbishop Boutros Marayati, Archbishop of Aleppo and its affiliates for the Armenian Catholics, said that the exhibition presented paintings that were drawn in a modern style that stems from the heart that expresses the human situations that the artist is experiencing in the conditions of war, to say that we overcome all these difficulties and we will never surrender, we love freedom and peace we will rebuild Syria.
