Aleppo and Idlib plunged into darkness following terror attack

PROVINCES,(ST)_Aleppo and Idlib provinces have been plunged into darkness following a terrorist attack on high-voltage electricity line, a source at Electricity Ministry said Sunday.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that a terrorist attack on the ‘Zezon –Zerbeh’ high-voltage electricity line caused a power cut in Aleppo and Idlib.

He also talked about another terrorist attack in southern Daraa province, saying: “terrorists opened fire at electricity workers as they were maintaining medium-voltage electricity line in al-Sheikh Meskin area, killing a worker.”

On October 16, electricity worker was martyred and four others wounded in explosion of a mine as they were maintaining high-voltage lines in Adra city outside Damascus.

The mine was planted by terrorists before they were driven out of the city.
