Al-Zoubi: Some forces in Lebanon orchestrating terrorism in the region

DAMASCUS, (ST) – “some Lebanese dignitaries are used to make a package of accusations upon every assassination  occurs in Lebanon, “underscored Minister of Information  Omran al-Zou’bi.

“these groundless  accusations are utterly linked to  those figures( former Lebanese PM Fuad Sanyoura and others)  with the nation’s foes in a desperate bid to avert attention away from Sanyoura’s role as regards supporting and bankrolling terrorism in Lebanon and the entire region rather than  providing   safe havens to terrorists, particularly the “Islam State in Iraq and Sham”, “Jabhet al-Nusra”, and the “Islamic Front”, under the patronage of Saad al-Hariri and his kings and princes,”al-Zou’bi underlined in a statement released on Friday.

“Undoubtedly, the stupid accusations are but a clear proof that there are forces in Lebanon orchestrating terrorism in the region, “affirmed al-Zou’bi.

“We want peace and security to the Lebanese people and we call upon all honest persons in Lebanon to stand against terrorism that some Lebanese sides are shielding and protecting,” he said.

“terrorism is the enemy of all sides and all the world’s peoples. Terrorism must be faced seriously away from the absurd use of political and fruitless accusations. “concluded al-Zou’bi.
