Al-Zoubi: Catering for martyrs’ families a national duty

Lattakia – Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi affirmed on Thursday that the life goes on in Syria due to the sacrifices of martyrs who inspire steadfastness and pride in the Syrians.

In a press statement during his visit to martyrs’ families in al-Hara village in Lattakia, the minister said that visiting martyrs’ families is a national duty and an honor due to their sacrifices for preserving the dignity of the homeland.

According to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), The minister pointed to the importance of meeting the needs of the martyrs’ families by all state institutions.

For their part, the martyrs’ families expressed pride in the sacrifices of their sons, asserting their readiness to spare no efforts to preserve their homeland.

 

Lattakia Governor Ibrahim Khodr al-Salem said that Lattakia governorate is working to meet the needs of martyrs’ families as the available resources permit, saying that any effort or services provided to them will remain symbolic and won’t live up to the sacrifices of their sons.

Al-Zoubi visits temporary shelters in Lattakia

Later, Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi visited the temporary shelter at Sports institute in the coastal city of Lattakia, inspecting the situation of the center and the services offered to the resident families who fled the crimes of terrorism.

Minister al-Zoubi considered that Lattakia city assumes its responsibility towards the families who live in temporary centers.

Lattakia governor, for his part, said the governorate will meet the demands of residents at the center and ensure a number of work contracts in the cleaning sector.

In a relevant context, the Minister affirmed that the Syrian people and army will gain victory over enemies of Syria.

“Syria will remain immune against plots being hatched by enemies… the Syrian people, who embrace the army, will preserve each inch of the homeland’s soil,” Minister al-Zoubi said at a celebration in Dar al-Assad for Culture to honor the wounded members of the army.
