Al-Zou’bi: National media highlights pressing issues

DAMASCUS, (ST) –”national media outlets  are always ready to highlight  the National Reconciliation Committee’s activities ,”underscored Information Minister Omran al-Zou’bi.

AlZou’bi’s remark was made during a meeting with the National Reconciliation Committee at the People’s Assembly on Wednesday.

“needless to say that current circumstances forced Syrian media to work according to available resources and focus on pressing issues. The media’s duty is to tackle  all national issues that could help resolve the crisis and its repercussions with a high sense of responsibility, “underlined al-Zou’bi.

The minister made it clear that the National Reconciliation Committee has an important role in the society  and the Information Ministry is open to all Committee members.

For their part, the committee memberscalled for shedding more light on reconciliation efforts across Syria in national media.
