Al-Zaibak excels in W E C

DAMASCUS (ST) – Ghali al-Zaibak, the promising Syrian equestrian, has returned home after taking part in the U-12 World Equestrian Championship which was recently staged in Brazil.

Al-Zaibak exceled in the said event as he managed to finish second in the team’s competition and fourth in the individual’s  contest .He was also named as equestrian of the tournament.

Upon his arrival in Syria,Muwafak Jum’a,chairman of the General Sports Federation,honoured al-Zaibak  and hailed his high performance in the world championship.

It is to be noted that some 32 equestrians  from 16 nations took part in the event.
