PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces continue carrying out operations against terrorists’ hideouts in countryside of Damascus, Hama and Idleb.
Several hideouts, which the terrorists were using to plot for their attacks on citizens, were reportedly destroyed.
In addition, four explosive devices of the weight 25 kg, planted by terrorists north Jobar alley (in Damascus countryside), were dismantled.
Elsewhere, units of armed forces clashed with terrorists in Hasaka province and countryside of Homs and Daraa.
Many terrorists were killed and injured in the said provinces.
As for the latest development in Aleppo, al-Watan newspaper based-in Damascus reported that the army achieved a strategic gain through opening the road linking al-Salameya to Aleppo International Airport and defeated al-Nusra Front- linked terrorist groups.
“The army has captured key sites to pave the ground for entering south alleys in Aleppo, such as –Sheikh Saed, al-Salehain and al-Marjeh,” the paper added.
Syria is in a state of war and its army is doing its duty as regard defending homeland and citizens, and fighting terrorist groups to restore stability and security to the country.
The terrorist groups, who are exported from 40 countries, perpetrate heinous crimes against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are funded and supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and the US.
