Al-Thawra qualifies for the final match of the Arab Women’s Basketball Club Championship

Amman (ST): Al-Thawra Club qualified for the final match of the Arab Clubs Basketball Championship held in Jordan, by defeating the Jordanian Orthodox, with a score of 97-74 points, in the match that brought them together in the semi-finals.

 In the final match, Al-Thawra will meet the winner of the other semi-final that brings together Beirut, Lebanon, and Al-Fuhais, Jordan.

Al-Thawra concluded the preliminary round of the championship with 7 points, despite its only loss with Al-Fuhais of Jordan with a score of 88-58 points.

The team includes players Maria Daibes, Zina Yazigi, Sidra Suleiman, Alicia Makarian, Nora Bishara, Jessica Hakima, Shaghaf Faour, Anna Aslanian, Mary Abdullah and Elisa Dable. Two professional players were contracted according to the tournament rules that stipulate the presence of two foreign players on the field.
