Al-Thawra defeats Al-Hilal of Tunisia in the Arab Women’s Basketball Club Championship

Tunisia (ST): The Syrian Al-Thawra team beat Al-Hilal of Tunisia 72-59 points in its third match in the Arab Clubs Basketball Championship for women currently being held in Tunisia for the second group.

Al-Thawra team had defeated the Jordanian Orthodox by 74-61 points in the previous round, after losing in the first round to Algeria’s Kosidar, 61-53 points, to conclude the first round with the Beirut sports meeting tomorrow.

The tournament system stipulates that the first of the first group plays with the fourth of the second group, the second of the first group with the third of the second group, the second of the second group with the third of the first group, and the first of the second group with the fourth of the first group.
