Al Somah wins best Syrian professional footballer award for 2020

Syrian national football player, Omar Al-Somah, won the award for the best professional Syrian footballer for 2020 in its third course, which is organized by the Syrian Professional Players website.

The director of the Syrian professional players site, Laith Bayrakdar, revealed in a statement to SANA that Al Somah achieved twelve points that included several criteria.

 

Bayrakdar indicated that Al Somah participated in 25 matches in the soccer league, beating the closest competitor Khalil Elias, who participated in 21 matches with the Argentine Atletico Union. He also took part in 4 AFC Champions League matches in addition to his individual accomplishments as goalscorer  for Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia, with 19 scores.

It is noteworthy that the previous awards were won by our former national team player Sennacherib Melki when he was playing with German Berchott of Belgium and Roda Kerkrade of the Netherlands.
