Al-Sisi calls for an end to the global increase in grain prices and fertilizer crisis

Moscow (ST): Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi called for an end to the rise in grain prices and the global fertilizer crisis.

Al-Sisi said during the plenary session of the (Russia-Africa) summit today, according to RT: “I stress the importance of developing urgent solutions to the grain and fertilizer crisis, while searching for support in the field of agricultural technologies for Africa, and an end to the rise in grain prices.”

He added, “The summit comes today in very complex international circumstances and a general climate characterized by a high degree of polarization, and we are facing a huge number of challenges that threaten the determinants of the security of the continent and the rights of future generations.”

Al-Sisi stressed the need to take into account the needs of developing countries, led by African countries, with regard to the severe repercussions on their economies, as a result of the existing conflicts and challenges.
