Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shibani said after the end of the Arab Summit in Cairo: “I am leaving Egypt after participating in the extraordinary summit on Palestine alongside President Ahmad Al-Sharaa. We held important talks on the Arab region and its future. We thank the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Foreign Minister, dear brother Badr Abdelatti, for the warm reception and hospitality.
Today, for the first time in Syria’s history, I am participating in the Executive Council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague.
This meeting represents Syria’s commitment to international security and loyalty to those who lost their lives due to suffocation at the hands of the Assad regime.” Al-Shibani added.
