Al-Shaibani: Strengthening Syrian-Jordanian cooperation serves the interests of peoples of the two countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shaibani meets with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi in Damascus.

Following the meeting, Al-Shaibani posted on X: “I was honored today to receive my brother, His Excellency the Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ayman Safadi, where we held fruitful discussions on a number of issues of concern to our two countries. We believe that strengthening Syrian-Jordanian cooperation serves the interests of our two peoples and contributes to the stability and prosperity of our region.”

“We then moved on to fruitful talks with His Excellency, President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, during which we addressed the challenges facing our region and ways to cooperate to confront them in a way that achieves security and stability and develops Syrian-Jordanian relations.
