Al-Shaibani meets with the Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shibani on Wednesday met with the Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in the Middle East Muhammad Abu Bakr Farea and the accompanying delegation.

President of the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority Ashhad Al-Salibi attended the meeting which focused on ways to develop the Syrian civil aviation sector.

The meeting also discussed ways to modernize the Syrian civil aviation sector and adopt new procedures to strengthen this field.

Farea visit to Damascus witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority, which aims to establish a framework for joint cooperation between the two sides.
