Al-Shaibani meets with delegation from the Syrian Jewish community in New York

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani on Monday met with a delegation from the Syrian Jewish community in New York City.

Discussions focused on the importance of strengthening bridges of communication and understanding.

Issues of concern to the community and its cultural and historical ties to its homeland were reviewed.

The Community’s important role in Syria’s reconstruction process was also emphasized.

Earlier yesterday, Al-Shibani met in New York with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and Carla Quintana, President of the Independent Institution on Missing Persons in Syria.
