Al-Shaar: Interior Security Forces Proved Strong, Steadfast

DAMASCUS, (ST) _ Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammad al-Shaar, confirmed that acts of murder and sabotage and attempts to destroy the society and the state fabric in Syria by terrorist organizations, backed by money and weapons from the US and the Zionist enemy, tools in the region, aims to undermine Syria position, independent decision and adherence to the Arab initial rights, especially the right of the Palestinian people to restore their lands.

During a meeting with police officers and personnel graduates of various specifications yesterday, Maj. Gen. al-Shaar added that Syria ‘s people, army and security forces continue to fight terrorism until the restoration of security and stability to the whole country, pointing out that the Internal Security Forces have proven all over the Syrian territories great steadfastness and loyalty to the leader and have been always side to side with the heroes of our armed forces in defeating terrorist organizations which violate homeland security .

The Minister of Interior stressed the importance of training, behavioral and military learning, received by graduates in enabling them to perform civic duties in law enforcement and in maintaining security, so as to be a source of safety and tranquility for citizens, especially under the circumstances faced by Syria.

He called on the graduates to abide by the rules of discipline by implementing assigned tasks and laws entrusted to them to safeguard citizens’ rights and dignity and to bridge any gap between the police officer and the citizen.
