Al-Safadi: Israel pushes the region further into tension

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stressed that Israel, by continuing its brutal aggression on Gaza is pushing the entire region towards more conflict, tension and wars and trying to open new fronts and drag the west into it.

In a statement to Petra News Agency, Safadi warned that this entity continues to commit war crimes against the Palestinian people and violate international law, defying the will of the international community and violating all humanitarian, legal and moral norms without deterrence.

Safadi pointed out that the failure of the international community to curb Israeli extremism and stop the heinous war crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza has allowed the government of this entity to continue its aggression and endanger the security of the entire region.

Safadi stressed that the international community is facing a moral, legal and security crossroads, either to assume its responsibility, stop the Israeli aggression and arrogance and protect the security of the region, or allow this government to drag the region into a regional war that will threaten international security and peace.
