Damascus (ST): MP Mortada Al-Sa’edi, head of the National Support Bloc in Parliament, said that an Iraqi parliamentary delegation will arrive in Syria today to show solidarity with the Syrian people and provide all possible assistance to those affected by the earthquake that affected several areas in Syria.
Al-Sa’edi explained in a statement that the delegation includes 20 MPs headed by First Deputy Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and this visit comes within the framework of the brotherly relations between the two countries, and the similar circumstances that the two countries lived through, and to stand with Syria after the earthquake disaster, and to learn about what it needs during this period.
Al-Sa’edi stressed the support of Iraq and its government and the people’s solidarity with Syria in light of the humanitarian crisis it was exposed to as a result of the earthquake that claimed the lives of many innocent people.
