Al-Quds Conference asserts Syria’s victory will foil Zionist plot

The participants in the 8th session of al-Quds Conference for Palestine Youth have zeroed in on the Palestinian youth’s role in Intifada against the Zionist enemy [Israel].

They stressed that the Palestinian cause will remain the Arab youth’s compass and resistance is the only choice to restore the occupied lands and usurped rights.

The participants in the conference, which was held Saturday in Dar al-Baath auditorium in Mazzeh area in Damascus by the Palestinian-Iranian Friendship Association, pointed out that what is going on in Syria comes within the conspiracy being hatched against the region to abort the Palestinian cause.

They underscored the need to disseminate the culture of resistance among the Palestinian youth to confront the US and Zionist entity’s attempts to foment sedition among the Arab youth.

Secretary of the Palestine Liberation Organization factions in Damascus Smir al-Refa’ee asserted the importance of supporting the Palestinian Intifada till the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

“Syria’s victory over terrorism will foil the Zionist plot in the region,” he added.

On his part, representative of the Iranian embassy in Damascus Masoud al-Sabri Zada referred to the importance of the conference being held in the light of the increasing role of youth in the continuity of the Palestinian struggle.

While the Head of the Palestinian-Iranian Friendship Association Mohammad al-Bhisi said that resistance is the only choice for the Palestinian people to restore their rights.
