Al-Qseir Square Witnesses Mas Rally Celebrating Restoration of Security

HOMS, (ST) – Celebrating the restoration of security and stability to the city of al-Qseir, people of the city and neighboring villages in addition to a number of al-Baath University square  held a rally at al-Qseir Square on Sunday.

 Participants in the rally expressed their happiness for getting rid of armed terrorist groups which committed horrible crimes against the people of the city and destroyed its properties.

They waved Syrian flags and chanting nationalistic slogans as they were marching through the streets of al-Qseir. 

They expressed their complete trust in the ability of the Syrian Arab Army to confront terrorists and protect the homeland against plots hatched against Syria to undermine its key role in the region.

Homs Governor Ahmad Munir Mohammad, who took part in the rally, said that the public services destroyed by terrorists would be restored soon, pointing out that maintenance teams have started work in al-Boueyda al-Sharqeya in al-Qseir countryside.

He hailed the participation of a Lebanese delegation in the rally aiming to share with the Syrian people their happiness in the army’s victory in al-Qseir.  

Hassan Yaacoub, Former Lebanese MP, who also participated in the rally, said that Syria’s enemies sought to destroy it but failed due to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and bravery of the Syrian army.”

The Regional Secretary of the Baath Party in Lebanon Fayez Shukr congratulated the Syrian people on the Syrian army’s victory over the armed terrorist groups in al-Qseir, stressing that Syria’s victory will be a strong hit to the Zionist project in the region.

Last week, Syrian troops established control over al-Qseir following weeks of heavy clashes with foreign-backed armed groups.
