Al-Qalamoun hospitals in Damascus countryside provide more than half a million services
Damascus countryside (ST): The number of diagnostic and therapeutic services provided by the General Authority of Qalamoun Hospitals in Damascus Countryside during the past year exceeded 580,000 services, including 12,000 hemodialysis sessions and 9,000 CT scans, according to the director of the authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Arsali.
Dr. Al-Arsali explained that the authority includes 4 hospitals, which are Al-Nabek, Deir Attia, Yabrud and Qara, and serve the people of the region, in addition to responding to road accidents due to its location near the Damascus-Homs International Highway.
Dr. Al-Arsali pointed out that the number of patients in the emergency departments in Al-Qalamoun Hospital reached 94,396 patients last year, and the number of patients in outpatient clinics reached 17,799, while the number of surgeries reached 6,254, and 1,700 normal deliveries, and 1,797 cesarean deliveries, in addition to 329,395 laboratory tests.
