Al-Qaeda plants explosive devices in Syria- Velayeti

TEHRAN, (ST) Adviser of the Commander of the Islamic Revolution in Iran for the International Affairs, Ali Akbar Velayati, confirmed that the West had sent members of al-Qaeda to Syria to do the shooting and planting explosive devices among innocent citizens and today the United States and the West recognize the Alliance, which they made it despite the fact that the Syrian people reject it.

In a speech at the 1st conference on the Strategic Role of Universities and Institutes, Velayati said that the European Union copes and favors Washington’s policies toward Syria and described the EU as a tool in the hands of the United States of America to implement their agendas.
