Al-Qadri: The blockade and Western coercive measures will increase the adherence of the Syrian people to their national principles

On March 23rd, Chairman of the General Federation of Trade Unions, Jamal al-Qadri, affirmed that the enemies of Syria are under the illusion that by their siege and unjust coercive measures, they will affect the morale and victories of the Syrian people.

“Our people have proven that this siege and coercive measures will only increase their  insistence on adhering to their principles and national constants,” Al-Qadri said in a speech during his meeting with the Syrian community in Egypt.

Al-Qadri praised the successes achieved by the Syrians in Egypt and the various countries in which they live.

Al-Qadri expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian position, which expresses the common history that unites the two brotherly countries.

The meeting was attended by Syrian Ambassador to Egypt Dr. Bassam Darwish, Head of the Syrian Diplomatic Mission to Egypt and Chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Trade Unions and other Syrian and Egyptian personalities.
