Terrorist Abo Trabeh admits responsibility for Friday’s Sweida blasts

SWEIDA, (ST)_The competent authorities apprehended today the terrorist al-Wafid Abo Trabeh, who admitted his responsibility for Friday’s Sweida blasts.

The terrorists, who was apprehended in al-Mazraa town, about 12km west of Sweida, admitted that he had taken part in attacks on the military police branch, the criminal security headquarter and Governorate building as well as in acts of vandalism and theft of private properties in Sweida city. 

He said that he alongside his group exploded the first car bomb by remote control as the convoy of Sheikh Bal’os was passing on Daher al-jabal road.

While the second car bomb was exploded at the national Hospital 2 hours after the first explosion occurred in order to kill the families of the martyrs and wounded persons, who were admitted to the hospital.  

The Security Committee’s head in the city clarified that the terrorists’ admissions were made before everal Druze Aqel Sheikhs in the presence of Abdullah al-Atrash, Yehia Amer [MP] and Haitham Na’em [Director of Sweida Education Directorate].

Yesterday, the Spiritual Leadership of al-Muwahhideen Muslims sect [Unitarian Muslims] in Syria has condemned the two terror blasts and called on the people of Sweida to put out the fire of sedition and not to attack the state establishments.
