Al-Nusra Front blasts al-Imam al-Nawawi shrine in Daraa

DARAA,(ST)_ Al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists have blasted the al-Imam al-Nawawi shrine in Nawa city outside Daraa after booby trapping it, media sources reported Wednesday.

The sources said that terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front had booby trapped the shrine of the al-Imam al-Nawawi, about 45km south Daraa city, and blasted it.

The shrine dates back to 1277.

The Takfiri terrorist organizations announced through social media that the shrine was blasted in accordance with al-Nusra Front Emirs’ Fatwa.

A video footage was posted to the social media showing the damage in the shrine and surrounding area.
