Al- Nao qualifies for JITT semis

Amman,(ST)-Hazem al-Nao, the outstanding Syrian tennis-player, has qualified for the Jordan International Tennis Tournament semi-final.

In the semi-final round, al-Nao will go-head-to-head with his Egyptian opponent Mohammad abo-Alqassim.

Earlier,al-Nao beat Mohammad Abdul Aziz from England (4-6) 7-5 6-3 in the quarterfinal.

In the second round,al-Nao beat Somar from Turkey  6-4- 6-2.And beat Egyptian Kareem Abdul Raouf 6-1-6-0 in the preliminary round.

 

In the doubles contest, al-Nao and Mousa Qutub from Jordan made it through to the semi-final as they beat their opponents from Saudi Arabia.

In the semi-final, al-Nao and Qutub will meet Salvador and Antony from Portugal.
