Al-Muqt: “US Caesar Act” targets the steadfastness of the Syrian people

The freed prisoner Sedqi Al-Muqt, resident of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, has said that the US and the western coercive economic measures, including the so-called “Caesar Act”,  that are being imposed on Syria target the people of Syria and their steadfastness in fighting terrorism.

In an interview with the Syrian TV channel, al-Muqt made it clear that the conspirators on Syria moved to impose unjust sanctions on Syria after they failed to reach their goals through their direct military aggression.

“The conspirators’ agenda serves the Israeli occupation entity,” he added, citing that the Syrian army’s victories over terrorism led to the last chapter of aggression.

Al-Muqt, in addition, asserted that Syria’s enemies work on undermning the steadfastness of the Syrian people through these illegal measures.

” Syria will win,” he said, affirming that the Syrian Golan people will never abandon an inch of their land and the Israeli crimes will never undermine their steadfastness.

Al-Muqt referred to the mass rally held in Sweida city to condemn the so-called “Caesar Act”, asserting that the people of Suweida will stand against any plot targeting Syria.
