Al-Mouallem: Syria Welcomes International Shifts leading to Correct Conclusions

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriate Minister Walid al-Moallem said that “Syria welcomes any changes of international stances that leads to correct conclusions”.

Reviewing the latest developments on the international arena at the cabinet session on Tuesday, al-Moallem said that “as the global war on Syria enters its fifth year, conspiracies continue to target the Syrian state and what proves this is what happening in the southern borders with Jordan and Israel in addition to the obstinate Turkish stances towards Syria.

The minister added that all the sinister schemes that targeted Syria were failed due to the cohesion of the people, the leadership and the army, pointing out that Syria is determined to fight terrorism and to achieve national reconciliations.

“Changing of international stances is welcomed but the most important for us is their actions by drying up terrorism resources.” The minister concluded.
