Al-Moallem to deliver Syria’s statement to UN General Assembly next Saturday

Damascus, ( ST) – with an official delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid Moallem, the Syrian Arab Republic participates in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly The General Assembly is scheduled to hold a general discussion on the issues and items on its agenda.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates will deliver the statement of the Syrian Arab Republic to the General Assembly on Saturday 28 September, which will include Syria’s position on various issues in addition to the developments related to the situation in Syria and the region

Minister al-Moallem will hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the work of the General Assembly with a number of officials and foreign ministers. He will hold a meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and participate in a number of activities and events that will be held within the framework of the General Assembly.

The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the 74th session of the UN General Assembly will include Deputy Minister Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Mohammed Al-Amrani, Director of the Special Office, and Ahab Hamed of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
