Damascus, (ST) – Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem met on Tuesday the newly-appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador to Syria.
Minister al-Moallem received credential papers as non-resident Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Syria, Ms. Karonaranty.
During the meeting the discussion centered on the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to the ways of enhancing and developing cooperation between the two friendly peoples and countries.
