Al-Moallem meets Cuba’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

DAMASCUS – Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem met on Thursday the new Cuban Ambassador Rogerio Manuel Santana Rodriguez.

The Minister received from Rodriguez a copy of his credentials as Cuba’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Syria, SANA reported.

 The talks during the meeting discussed the bilateral relations between Syria and Cuba and means of developing them in the political, economic and cultural fields as both countries are facing similar challenges.
