Al-Moallem Criticizes Turkish Harmful Stances Towards Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Moallem stressed the deeply rooted relation between Syrian and Turkish people, criticizing Turkish government for its harmful stances towards Syria that don’t serve the interest of the people of the two countries.

He made the remarks in a meeting today with Turkish delegation comprising political, economical and party figures headed by leader of Turkish Land Party Dr. Dogu Perincek.

Al-Moallem called upon the delegation to uphold the profound ties and interest shared by the two peoples that helps to establish peace and security in the region. 

For his part, head of the Turkish delegation stressed the solidarity of the Turkish with the Syrians in combating terrorism.

He added that Erdogan’s wrong policies led the terrorists ignite the region and implement US and Israel schemes in destroying the countries of the region.
