Al-Moallem: Aleppo Will be Declared Liberated from Terrorists within Coming Few Days

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Maollem has affirmed that Aleppo will return and will be declared liberated from terrorists within the coming few days, hailing the Syrian Arab army’s great achievements in Aleppo.

During a People’s Assembly session on Wednesday chaired by PA Speaker Hadeya Abbas,  Al-Moallem reviewed the latest developments on the Arab and international arenas.

The deputy premier said that the foreign conspiracy on Syria has become more heinous, particularly in Aleppo because the conspirators are worried about their terrorist tools including Jabhat al-Nusra, Nour Eddin Zinki and Ahrar al-Sham terror organizations and other affiliated armed groups there.

“Unfortunately, this is the western world, but this won’t stop us from pressing ahead with the struggle to liberate every inch of the land of beloved Syria from terrorism,” al-Moallem said.

Conspirators worried about their terrorist tools in Aleppo

“Leaders of some countries that conspired on Syria didn’t sleep yesterday because they were worried about the remaining terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo who are positioned in 2% of Aleppo,” al-Moallem added.

He pointed out that yesterday’s Security Council’s meeting  was a “carnival of lies”, referring to the claims made by the UN chief as well as the US, French and British envoys about their concern over the civilians who left Aleppo eastern districts.

According to al-Moallem these parties have colluded with ISIS terrorist organization and they even helped its terrorists return to Palmyra, aiming to divert attention away from the victories of the Syrian Arab army in Aleppo and to deprive the Syrians from feeling happy with this great achievement.

“No one can hide the sun light… victory in Aleppo is historical and it will change the face of the crisis in Syria and the region,” he said.

“Palmyra will be liberated sooner or later,” al-Moallem stressed, reiterating that the reconciliation agreements reached in al-Tal, Khan al-Shih, Darayya, al-Moadamiyyeh and other Syrian areas are very important to support the army’s achievements.

On the incessant Turkish incursion in northern Syria, al-Moallem said “it is an aggression on the Syrian sovereignty to which the Syrian government will retaliate by adopting all necessary measures.”

“We are now fighting Erdogan’s tools in Syria, particularly in Aleppo where all the terrorist extremist groups get their instructions from the Turkish intelligence,” said al-Moallem, reiterating that “Syria won’t allow any Turkish soldier to stay on its lands.”

Israel-terrorist groups relation

Regarding the Israeli repeated aggression on Syria, the deputy premier said the relation between the Zionist entity and the terrorist organizations, manly Jabhat al-Nusra, in the southern region of  Syria, particularly in Quneitra, has become clear to all and Israel’s cooperation with the terrorists to establish a security belt in Syria like it did before in South Lebanon can’t be ignored.
