Al-Miqdad: Syria supports Russia in its military operation in Ukraine in the face of Western measures

Damascus, ST) –  The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad affirmed that Syria supports Russia in its military operation in Ukraine as it is confronting the West’s measures and provocations that threaten its national security.

Al-Miqdad indicated in an interview with Al-Mayadeen channel tonight that the West continues to support the neo-Nazis in Ukraine and terrorist organizations in order to implement its political agendas and impose global hegemony.

Minister Miqdad pointed out that Syria is still subject to other  terrorist aggression from Western countries and a siege that has caused the suffering of its people, while the US occupation continues to support the separatist “SDF” militia.

“US occupation continues to loot Syria’s wealth of oil and wheat from the Syrian Al-Jazeera”, he added.

Al-Miqdad indicated that the Turkish regime continues to support terrorist organizations in Syria in violation of the United Nations Charter. He stressed that Syria is determined to liberate all its occupied territories.
