Al-Miqdad, Khaji discuss the recent regional and international developments

DAMASCUS, Feb.28, (ST)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Miqdad discussed on Monday with the Senior Advisor to Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Asghar Khaji and the accompanying delegation the continuity of coordination and consultation between the two countries regarding the developments in Syria and the recent regional and international developments. 
 
The two sides asserted their rejection of foreign intervention in the work of the Syrian constitutional committee, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). 
 
The agency reported that Al-Miqdad briefed the delegation on the positive development in Syria, especially the expansion of national reconciliation process in several Syrian provinces. 
 
For his part, Khaji spoke about negotiations on Iranian nuclear file and the importance of the western parties’ commitment to the agreement, especially lifting sanctions imposed on Iran. 
 
He asserted his country’s support to Syria in confronting challenges.
