Al-Mikdad: War on Syria is run from Jordan

Damascus,(ST)_Deputy Expatriate and Foreign Minister has unveiled that Israeland Saudi Arabia are running  the war against Syria from Jordan, warning against the expansion of terrorism to the neighboring countries

Faisal al-Mikdad’s remark was made during an interview conducted yesterday with the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.

He stressed that military experts from the Israeli Mossad, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United States and some European countries alongside  some ringleaders are working in an operation center in Jordan to run the war against Syria.

“We have discussed  with Jordanian officials the necessity of Jordan’s abide by the common security of the two countries,” al-Mikdad said, warning that the threats of terrorist groups will be stretched to Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Moreover , he stressed that some armed terrorist groups, operating in Syria, protect Israel’s border under a deal arrived at  between them and the Mossad. “The Israeli weapons that seized in several areas in Syria proves Israel’s support for the terrorist groups.”

He added that a lot of wounded terrorists are being treated in the Israeli hospitals in the occupied Palestine.

Al-Mikdad also shouldered Saudi Arabia responsibility for the Syrian bloodshed because it backs the Takfiri terrorists in the country.

On the other hand, He asserted that several European countries have contacted with the Syrian government to discuss issues related to their citizens, who are practicing terrorism in Syria.

” Syria will never hesitate in cooperating with these countries to fight al-Qaeda and terrorism,” al-Mikdad said.

Syria’s Reservation

As for Geneva-2 conference, he reiterated that Syria will take part in the conference without pre-conditions and without foreign intervention.

“All Syrians must have a unified attitude towards terrorism before going to the Geneva-2 conference,” al-Mikdad said, adding that the Syrian government has a reservation on the participation of the armed terrorist groups in the said conference.

He concluded by saying: “We hope that there will be a real Syrian opposition that is not affiliated to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey , the US , the UK and others. Geneva principles are based on compatibility between the participants.”
