Al-Mikdad: U.S. and western countries’ support for Israel is an open license to kill the Palestinian people

Damascus- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Faisal Al-Mikdad has stressed that the support of the Western countries and the United States for what is called “Israel’s right to self-defense” is an open license for the Israeli fascists to kill the Palestinian people, who to date have lost more than 7,000 martyrs, including 3,000 children.

“The demolition of Palestinian homes and depriving the Palestinians of medicine, food, electricity, and water are war crimes and crimes against humanity,”  Al-Mikdad said on X platform on Thursday, pointing out that Article 51 of the United Nations Charter completely contradicts the West’s interpretation of the resolution and rejects using it as a killing tool, because the Charter supports the right of peoples to freedom, independence and enjoying human rights.

The minister went on to say that what is required now is to stop the collective West’s hypocrisy and to respect international law and international humanitarian law if the West does not want to lose what remains of its credibility.
